Ingredients

• 2 ozRye whiskey
• 1 tspRich simple syrup
• 4 dashesPeychaud’s bitters
• 1 rinseAbsinthe

Method

1. Rinse a chilled rocks glass with absinthe and discard the excess.
2. Stir rye, syrup and bitters with ice.
3. Strain into the prepared glass (no ice).
4. Express a lemon peel over the top and discard.

Garnish: Lemon peel.
